Minnesota is in its legislation era, with Gov. Tim Walz signing off on the so-called ‘Taylor Swift Bill‘ this week.

House File 1989 – get it? – adds more protections for ticket buyers, restricting resellers and requiring vendors like Ticketmaster to disclose all fees up front.

Walz signed the bill at the Minneapolis concert venue First Avenue, with several young Swift fans in attendance.

The law takes effect next year.
