Woodstock 1969 is still one of the most iconic festivals of all time.

It featured some of the biggest, most revolutionary acts and performances of the day.

And it’s STILL being studied in schools and fawned over by music historians.

Conversely, Woodstock 1999 made a lot of people very upset…

And is widely considered to be a “bad move”

Now, the venerated festival is coming back in 2019.

According to Consequence of Sound, the 50th Anniversary of the festival has announced it’s lineup.

And it’s a doozy.

There’s big pop acts like Miley Cyrus, Imagine Dragons, and Halsey.

And massive hip hop acts like Jay-Z, Chance the Rapper, and Run the Jewels…

Along with classic artists like Robert Plant, John Fogerty, and Santana.

And a TON of Indie/Alternative acts.

Portugal. The Man, The Black Keys, The Raconteurs, The Head and the Heart, and MY GIRL JANELLE MONAE.

More than anything else… the festival looks to be pretty dang eclectic.

Which means tickets are probably going to be outrageous.

Hopefully Woodstock 2019 takes more cues from 1969 than 1999.

Tickets go on sale April 22nd
