Welcome to Wrexham with Ryan Reynolds is a Must Watch Sports Series

Football kicks off tonight. But, there’s another type of football you should be watching as well. Welcome to Wrexham on FX and Hulu is a docuseries about Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney buying a lower division football (soccer) team in Wrexham, Wales.

It’s the story of an underdog team, and town, that has been down on it’s luck for years now but feels a sense of hope when two Hollywood actors buy their soccer team. Soccer is a huge part of the series, but it’s more about the good that feeling of hope that get injected back into this town when the team starts to win again.
