“The Wizard of Oz” Is Getting A Remake By New Line Cinema

Tons of people think that “The Wizard of Oz” is one of those classic films that shouldn’t need a remake.

But, looks like it’s going to happen.

New Line Cinema has announced that the new movie will have a “fresh take” on Dorothy and will also “draw other elements” from the original film.

Nicole Kassell is set to direct the remake.
