“The Sandlot” Gets TV Series Reboot With Original Cast

It’s been 26 years since the classic baseball film, The Sandlot has been released. Last year, during the films 25th anniversary of the movie, the cast came together for a little reunion. Looks like you are going to see their faces again because the movie is getting it’s own TV series reboot!
The film’s original writer and director, David Mickey Evans is going to be returning to work on the show alongside the original cast members.
David mentioned that the show has already been bought by a streaming service and will start off with two seasons.
There isn’t much information about the show yet, but it has been mentioned that the original cast members will be playing parents on the show and it’s set to take place in 1984.
