“The Princess Bride” is Coming To Broadway

The classic Rob Reiner film, “The Princess Bride” is making its way to Broadway!

The movie is about a grandfather reading a fairy-tale to his sick grandson. The story revolves around a farm girl who later falls in love with the farmhand. The movie starred Robin Wright and Cary Elwes. The farmhand usually always replies with the line, “As you wish” (We’re swooning over here).

Plans were made 12 years ago to create a Broadway adaption for the film but fizzled out.

Disney Theatricals has hired a new team and various screenwriters to help create a script for a musical version of the film.
