See A Swarm of Ladybugs In California So Big It Shows Up On Radar!
June 7, 2019 4:00PM PDT
This is so crazy! A MASSIVE swarm of ladybugs showed up on a weather service radar map! It may look like rain, but is what they call a “bloom” (a swarm this big.) It has an 80-mile-wide mass, and was captured when traveling from the San Gabriel Mountains to San Diego.
FABULOUS!! 🐞💗🐞
The large echo showing up on SoCal radar this evening is not precipitation, but actually a cloud of lady bugs termed a “bloom” #CAwx pic.twitter.com/1C0rt0in6z
