Leslie Jordan to be Honored by Hometown of Chattanooga, Tennessee
Following the untimely death of Leslie Jordan, his hometown of Chattanooga, Tennessee, will honor him as “one of the cherished sons of Chattanooga.”
According to TMZ, Jordan was a treasure to his community and one of his family members reached out to the city about getting a facility to honor his legacy.
The city of Chattanooga is kicking around other ideas, such as naming a street or building after the beloved comedian and actor, but his family will have the final say.
The mayor of Chattanooga tweeted in remembrance of Jordan, the two had been friends since high school when they worked in a local restaurant together.

Leslie Jordan suffered what is believed to have been a medical emergency on Tuesday, October 25, when he crashed his BMW. He had been complaining about shortness of breath before the accident. He was 67.
