Homeless youth face many challenges when pursuing higher education. Despite these challenges, a 17-year-old from New Jersey named Dylan Chidick has a bright future ahead of him! Chidick and his family moved from Trinidad to New Jersey when he was just 7-years old. The family has been in and out of homelessness for many years due to his siblings’ chronic illnesses. Despite the challenges he has faced, Chidick has maintained excellent grades and is senior class president of Henry Snyder High School! Chidick plans on going to college once he graduates high school… and he has A LOT of choices. Chidick has been accepted into 17 different universes!
