It was a special night for the Tony Awards, especially for Glee alum, Ali Stroker.

Ali made history at the Tony Awards by being the first actor in a wheelchair to be nominated and WIN a Tony Award for “Best-Featured Actress in a Musical” in “Oklahoma” when she took on the role of Ado Annie.

During her acceptance speech, she shared some inspiring words for those with disabilities,

“This award is for every kid who is watching with a disability, a limitation, a challenge, who has been waiting to see themselves represented in this arena. You are.”

Ali has broken barriers before, she made Broadway history by being the first actor in a wheelchair starring in a Broadway play. She played Anna in “Spring Awakening.”
