First Look! Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge

Star Wars lovers rejoice! Disneyland’s Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge officially opens tomorrow, June 1st.

Today, three big stars from the franchise, Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, Billy Dee Williams along with creator George Lucas showed up to the park for the ribbon cutting ceremony.

Dinsey CEO Bob Iger described the place as,

“Star Tours on steroids.”

The first phase of Galaxy’s Edge will open tomorrow, June 1st where you can ride the Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run ride and experience all the shops and restaurant. The Rise of Resistance ride won’t be open until later this year, which will be part of Phase 2.

Disney World will be launching their own version of Galaxy’s Edge on August 29, 2019.
