Famous LA Doughnut Shop, Randy’s Doughnuts, Is Coming To The Bay Area
“Randy’s Doughnuts” is one of the most famous doughnut shops in the world. It’s gotten its own appearances in many movies and television shows such as, Iron Man 2, Arrested Development, Mars Attacks! and a whole lot more. It’s pretty much a part of pop culture history!
The shop was up for sale during 2015 and lawyer, Mark Kelegian acted fast and bought the shop at around $2 million and now he plans on opening new Randy’s Doughnut locations all over the world including a few spots right here in the Bay Area.
Mark doesn’t have any set locations on where exactly Randy’s Doughnuts will be opening in the Bay, but he would like to bring the shops to downtown San Francisco and its touristy places such as Union Square and Fisherman’s Wharf. There’s also possibilities that Randy’s Doughnuts will open up in the Palo Alto, San Jose and Berkeley areas in 2020.
