Disney+ Is Working On A "Beauty and the Beast" Prequel Series All About Gaston

Disney+ is working on creating a new series for Gaston from Beauty and the Beast.

Now this isn’t just any regular series, the streaming platform is planning on creating a short six-episode musical prequel for the Gaston and his buddy LeFou.

Luke Evans who played Gaston in the live-action remake of Beauty and the Beast back in 2017 is signed onto the show along with Josh Gad, who played LeFou in the movie.

No official title for the series has been announced yet, but don’t expect to see your favorite characters like Belle and the Beast because the show will be taking place LONG before that.

The live-action Beauty and the Beast film made over a billion dollars worldwide when it was released, so this series might help Disney+ get a few more subscribers.

A few fans are angry that the streaming platform is creating a show all about Gaston because of his sexist behavior and poor qualities…
