Burger King Introduces “Impossible Whopper”
April 1, 2019 8:17AM PDT
Burger King is making its menu a bit more vegetarian friendly.
The popular fast food chain is introducing, “The Impossible Whooper” which is a beefless burger, instead it’ll have a vegetarian patty created from Impossible Foods.
Impossible Foods has already had some of their products on the mainstream market. Impossible Foods has collaborated with Carl’s Jr. to create a “Beyond Meat” burger which can be found at over thousands of Carl’s Jr. locations nationwide.
Burger King is currently testing the Impossible Whopper at 59 locations in around the St. Louis area. No news yet on when it’ll be around at most of its locations, so we’re just going to have to wait and see.
Would you try the meatless burger? If you’ve tried something like this already, can you taste the differences from a meat patty vs. an impossible or beyond one?
