Avicii to release new single, album one year after death
Avicii may be gone, but he’ll never be forgotten.
His untimely death last April sent shockwaves across the music world.
And now, you may be seeing more of him.
When Tim Bergling passed away on April 20th 2018, he was close to completing his album. He left behind a collection of uncompleted songs along with notes, emails and texts about the unreleased music. According to Deadline, the DJ was nearly finished with new music the month he died.
And it turns out, his co-writers kept working on it even after.
Apparently, you’re going to see a new single April 10th.
With a new, full-length album on June 6th.
The single is called “SOS” — and the album is titled, simply “TIM”
All proceeds will be going to the Tim Bergling Foundation.
