Ariana Grande Won’t Be At The Grammy’s Because Producers Insulted Her
The biggest name in pop music now, Ariana Grande, will NOT be attending the Grammy Awards this weekend because of a disagreement with the show’s producers. Apparently she wanted to perform her #1 hit song “7 Rings” and the Producers gave her a counter-offer of including “7 Rings” in a medley with other songs of THEIR choosing.
Ari was reportedly insulted by their offer and declined to appear, even as her new album, Thank U, Next, is set to drop two days before the Grammy’s (this Friday.)
She could still very easily win the Grammy for Best Pop Vocal Album for “Sweetener”, and Best Pop Solo Performance for “God Is a Woman”.
It’s good to see her standing up for herself when it comes to artistic integrity. And it’s another loss for the Grammy’s. Other artists like Drake have decided to skip the even as well. In his case it’s “because they don’t air the other rap awards on TV.”
It should still be a good show with performers like Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes. And the Dolly Parton tribute is going to be awesome. The 61st Annual Grammy Awards will take place this Sunday, 5:00PM, on CBS.
