Ariana Grande Calls Out Grammys Producer: “You’re Lying About Me”
It has been a dramatic week for Ariana Grande. CBS has been heavily promoting Ariana Grande’s Grammy’s performance, but there is a problem. Ariana Grande has backed out of the performance after a dispute with the producer of the awards show. This all started because she wanted to perform her new song “7 Rings”, but The Grammys producer would only let her perform the song if she mixed it in with a medley of preselected songs. Ariana Grande wanted to choose her own songs and backed out of the show. Although she will not be performing on Sunday, Ariana Grande is nominated for two Grammys this year: BEST POP SOLO PERFORMANCE for “God Is A Woman” and BEST POP VOCAL ALBUM for “Sweetener.” Now there is a new twist to this story. The Grammys Producer, Ken Ehrlich says that after coordinating the details of the performance, Ariana Grande “felt it was too late for her to pull something together for sure.” Ariana took to Twitter to defend herself and set the record straight about what she says REALLY happened. Here is her series of Tweets:

i offered 3 different songs. it’s about collaboration. it’s about feeling supported. it’s about art and honesty. not politics. not doing favors or playing games. it’s just a game y’all.. and i’m sorry but that’s not what music is to me.
