A Mac Miller Documentary Is In The Works!

UPDATE!  Less than one day after this news of the documentary film about Mac Miller, CJ Wallis, the filmmaker, announced that the estate for Mac Miller has asked that the project be put on hold.  We’ll keep you update, as it appears it’s not a total loss.

There’s going to be a documentary film about Mac Miller, made by filmmaker CJ Wallis.  CJ’s company Margrette Bird Pictures is in pre-production now for the movie that will cover the life and career of Mac, who died at 26 last September from an accidental drug overdose. The film will include interviews with his family, friends and fans, and they’re calling on anyone who knew Mac well to participate at  #birdseyeview #ripmac

This should be a wonderful tribute to Mac, as CJ Wallis has worked as creative director on a number of projects.  He’s worked with a lot of rappers too – like Wiz Khalifa, Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz and Ty Dolla $ign.
