The first ever live-action Barbie movie is on the way and Margot Robbie will be playing Barbie! The Australian actress played Harley Quinn in Suicide Squad and Tonya Harding in I, Tonya. Warner Brothers announced today that they are working with Mattel on the new movie which is rumored to have a release date in 2020, although has not been confirmed. Anne Hathaway and Amy Schumer were top candidates to play Barbie, but they both turned it down. The only question now: who will be playing Ken… and could he possibly be straight?
