A Britney Spears Musical Is Coming To Broadway

It may be time to plan that trip to New York City – especially if you’re a Britney Spears fan! A musical comedy based on Britney Spears’ music is coming to Broadway. The show will be called Once Upon A One More Time. The musical will feature 23 of Britney’s biggest hits as well as some exclusive album cuts. A new article from The New York Times described the plot of the show:

“In the show, a fortnightly book club whose members include Snow White, Cinderella, Rapunzel and Sleeping Beauty, is working its way through a collection of the Grimms’ fairy tales — the only book they have. But when the women wish for new reading material, a fairy godmother brings them Ms. [Betty] Friedan’s feminist classic, The Feminine Mystique, and their lives are altered in unexpected ways.”

Once Upon A One More Time is expected to premier on Broadway in New York City sometime in 2020, but the show is launching in Chicago first on November 13th!
